Mike provides research consulting services to KLD. He profiles companies in a range of sectors including construction, utilities, electrical equipment, support services, electronic equipment and electricity, and conducts specialized research for consulting clients. Mike first joined KLD in 2000 and works remotely from the Serpent River First Nation in Canada.

Mike has coordinated programming for the Group Rights Studies Program at George Washington University, and lectured part time for the Department of Sociology at Laurentian University, Canada. He has also coordinated projects for the Tobacco Control Resource Center and the Tobacco Products Liability Project at the Northeastern University School of Law. Mike is also a former intern at the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Political-Military Affairs, and a U.S. Army paratrooper.

Mike holds a M.A. from Georgetown University in International Relations and a B.S. in Political Science from Northeastern University.

In his spare time, Mike co-founded the First Nations Green Energy Research Project, and serves as an Electoral Officer for Indian Act and Customary band council elections.
