KLD
Introduces New Training Options
@KLD Now Distributed Via
The Bloomberg Terminal
The
Bloomberg Terminal now carries @KLD in addition to KLD news, updates
and company reports.
@KLD
is a semimonthly publication, which highlights breaking corporate
stories that KLD’s research staff have recently added to SOCRATES,
KLD’s online research database. Since its launch in 2001, @KLD has
included over 3,500 entries, selected from more than 122,000 updates
to Socrates.
How
to Read @KLD
@KLD
may appear to be a comprehensive list of all the content that has
changed within Socrates in the past two weeks. However, readers
should keep in mind that @KLD is merely the tip of the iceberg.
It does not include:
- All ratings changes, only
those that are related to a discrete news item
- Updates to existing stories
that do not substantially change the focus
- Text edits, rewrites or
additions which come during a company’s annual KLD review
For
more information about @KLD, please email Sam
Warren.
How to access
@KLD in Bloomberg:
One
can access @KLD through two main channels:
- Type NH KLD to find a
listing of all of KLD’s recent articles.
- If you are researching
a specific company, type BRC once you have accessed the company.
This will take you to a list of recent research headlines throughout
the network. If the company appeared in the most recent @KLD,
the headline will appear on this list.

Introduces New Training Options
KLD
is pleased to offer enhanced training options to its research clients.

training for themselves or their company or to join internet “classes”
that focus on specific functions, such as querying or using the
Portfolio Screening tool. During the classes, clients may call in
and get step-by-step instructions over the Internet.
While
KLD has always offered training as requested by new and existing
clients, KLD client services department wanted to make sure clients
know they have access to resources to help them learn efficient
ways to conduct their research using our products.
Clients interested in scheduling a training session with a member
of KLD’s client services staff should send an email to clientservices@kld.com.
KLD will also post notices on its website to let clients know when
specialized training sessions on covering specific functionality
will be held.
