MA - December 18, 2003 - KLD Research &
Analytics, Inc., an independent investment research
firm, announced today that Entegris, Inc. (ENTG)
has been added to KLD's Domini 400 Social Index
(DS 400 Index). Entegris, Inc. is headquartered
in Chaska, Minnesota.
Entegris,
Inc. designs and manufactures material management
handling products for the microtechnology, semiconductor,
life sciences and data storage industries. The company's
products include wafer shippers, wafer transport
and process carriers, pods and work-in-process boxes.
In addition the company manufactures chemical delivery
products, such as valves, fittings, tubing, pipe
and containers. The company also manufactures products
for the fuel cell industry.
Reasons the company was added to KLD's DS 400
Index

Entegris manufactures fuel cell materials, components,
and subassemblies and provides services to fuel
cell developers.

In August 2003, Entegris inaugurated its multi-kilowatt,
stationary, polymer electrolyte membrane (PEM)
fuel cell plant at its manufacturing facility
in Chaska, Minnesota.
- Entegris
takes responsibility for the full lifecycle of
its products, including cleaning, reuse, replacement,
and recycling.
